RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY ADOPTING
CITY ENGINEERtS "REPORT ON CITY STREET DEFICIENCIES, SENATE CONCURRENT
RESOLUTION NO. 62"
WHEREASq the Legislature of the State of CalEorniaq has
requested the City of Gilroy to submit a report to the Department
of Public Worksq Division of Highwaysq on critical deficiencies on
City streets in accordance with Section 2156 of the Streets and High-
ways Code as amended and in accordance with Senate Concurrent Reso-
lution Noo 62; and,
WHEREASg on the 4th day of April.. 1960q there was filed with
the Common Council of the City of Gilroyz a report from the City
Engineer entitled "Report on City Street Deficienciesz Senate Con,...
current Resolution No. 62"" consisting of itemized list of deficient
streetsz cost estimates and map, all reported in accordance with said
Section 2156 of the Streets and Highways Code as amended by the
California State Legislature and with said Concurrent Resolution Noo 62;
and..
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Gilroy has studied
said report in full and is familiar with the contents thereof, and
desires to approve same;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the said Common Council of
the City of Gilroy, that said "Report on City Street Deficiencies" be
and the same is herBby adopted as the official report of the City of
Gilroy;
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of
Gilroy beq and he is hereby authorized and directed to forward copi.e s
of said report to the State ofCalifornia1 Department of Public Worksz
Division of Highways as soon as possible.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Common Council of the City of Gilroyz
at a regular meeting thereof, duly held on the 4th day of Aprilz 1960z
