RESOLUTION DESIGNATING CERTAIN STREETS AS MAJOR CITY STREETS
AND REQUESTING APPROVAL THEREOF ~y THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA,
THE DEPART~~NT OF PUBLIC WORKS.
~E IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Gilroy
that pursuant to the provisions of Section 2053, Chapter 2.
Division 3, of the Streets and Highways Code of the State ot
California. the City Council hereby designates the followinc
City Street as an additional mljor city street in the City ot
Gilroy:

Church Street from First Street to Walburn Avenue.
AND !3E IT FURTHF;R RESOLVED:
That the Stste of California, Department of Public Works,
is hereby requested to approve the addition of the above
described street to the Major City Street System.
I HEREBY CER.TIFY that the foregoing is a true and correct
