RESOLUTION NO. 80 - 20
A RESOLUTION OF PRELIHINARY DETERl\H:)TATION AND
OF INTENTION TO }~KE CHANGES AND MODIFICATIONS
PARKING DIST~ICT NO.2
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Gilroy, California,
that the public interest, convenience and necessity require, and that
it is the intention of said Council to make changes and modifications
in the assessment filed pursuant to Resolution No. 79-99 of Preliminary
Determination and of Intention adopted by said Council on November 19,
1979, as amended by increasing the total project cost from $148,000.00
to $189,000.0~, with no change in the estimated contribution of $75,000.00,
increasing the balance to assessment from $73,000.00 to $114,000.00 and
by apportioning and distributing said assessment as increased accord-
ing to benefits.
All of said changes and modifications shall be made by the Engi-
neer either on the face of the report or by filing an amendment thereto.
Notice is hereby given that Monday, the 3rd day of March, 1980, at
the hour of 8:00 o'clock p.m., in the regular meeting place of said
Council, Council Chambers, City Hall, 7390 Rosanna Street, Gilroy,
California, are hereby fixed as the time and place when and where said
Council will consider the matter of making said changes and modifica-
tions and whether or not the public interest, convenience and necessity
require such changes and modifications, and hearing all persons interested
therein.
The Department of Public Works of said City be, and it is hereby,
designated as the department to answer inquires regarding any protest
proceedings to be had herein, and may be contacted during regular office
hours at the City Hall, 7377 Church Street, Gilroy, California 95020 or
by calling (408) 842-9321.

The City Clerk of said City shall cause a copy of this resolution
to be published once in the Gilroy Dispatch, a newspaper of general
circulation published in said City, and the newspaper in which the
Notice of Improvement under ~s.aid Resolution of Preliminary Determina-
tion and of Intention was published; to cause a copy thereof to be
posted on or near the Council Chamber door; and to cause a copy thereof
to be mailed to the owners of property whose assessments are increased.
Said publication, posting and mailing shall be completed at least ten
(10) days before the date of hearing.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly adopted and passed by the City Council of the City of Gilroy,
California, at an adjourned regular meeting thereof held on the 11th
day of February, 1980, by the following vote of the members thereof:
