P~SOLUTION NO. 80 - 22
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY CO~~NDING SERVICES
OF MR. THEODORE "TED" CARPENETTI, GROUNDSKEEPER II.
wlIEREAS, Mr. Theodore "Ted" Carpenetti has been employed by the
City of Gilroy for twenty (20) years; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Carpenetti has decided to retire from the City of
Gilroy; and
WHEREAS, THEODORE "TED" CARPENETTI has served as an employee in
the Parks Department since the 21st day of March 1960 and was one of this
department's first full-time employees; and
WHEREAS, during his long period of service, he always performed
his duties conscientiously, honestly and with the best interests of the
City of Gilroy; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Carpenetti has always been a helpful and willing
employee; and
WHEREAS, the Gilroy City Council desires to take this opportunity
to commend Mr. Carpenetti's past services to the City of Gilroy.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Gilroy City Council
does hereby commend and honor Mr. Carpenetti for his conscientious and
faithful service during his tenure with the City of Gilroy.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that we do hereby extend our best wishes
to Theodore "Ted" Carpenetti and his family for continued success and
happiness.
