RESOLUTION NO. 80-49
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
AFFIRMING ON APPEAL THE DECISION Oli' TUE PLANNING
COMMISSION DENYING ADDITIONAL SIGN AREA AT SOUTH
VALLEY PLAZA.
WHEREAS, BELL SAVINGS & LOAN by AD ART COMPANY has
filed an appeal in due form from the decision of the Planning
Commission of the City of Gilroy denying a request for additional
sign area under the special sign permit #79-25 for South Valley
Plaza, and notice of the hearing of said appeal has been given
in the manner required by law and the Zoning Ordinance of the
City of Gilroy; and
WHEREAS, the said hearing on the appeal has been held
on June 2, 1980, at 8:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers in the City
Hall at 7390 Rosanna Street, Gilroy, California, and evidence was
submitted upon the said application and appeal from the findings
of the Planning Commission, the City Council finds that the
Planning Commission did not err in denying additional sign area
under special sign permit #79-25.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the decision of the
Planning Commission is hereby affirmed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of June, 1980, by the
following vote:
