RESOLUTION NO. 80-68
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
AUTHORIZING NEGOTIATION OF A CONTRACT FOR THE
INSTALLATION OF DEWATERING WELLS.
Upon recommendation of the Director of Public Works, and
good cause appearing therefor,
WHEREAS, up to four dewatering wells are needed on an
emergency basis in the Industrial Wastewater Disposal Ponds to
prevent possible shutdown of the system and therefore shutdown
of the industries using the system, and
WHEREAS, the industries which use the Industrial Waste-
water system also completely fund the system, and all said users
desire immediate installation of said wells,
BE IT RESOLVED that the Director of Public Wo~ks is hereby
authorized to negotiate a contract on behalf of the users of the
Industrial Wastewater system fore the installation of up to four
dewatering wells in the Industrial Wastewater Disposal Ponds, with
the number to be installed to be determined by the industrial users
after the prices are determined.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 28th day of July, 1980, by the
