RESOLUTION NOo 80-95
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
CONDITIONALLY RECOMMENDING MODIFICATION OF THE
URBAN SERVICE AREA OF THE CITY OF GILROY WITHIN
THE COUNTY OF SANTA CLARA.
WHEREAS, after study and hearings, the Planning
Commission and staff has recommended inclusion of a 100 acre
parcel of land into the Urban Service Area of the City of Gilroy
for development as an industrial park by Advanced Micro Devices
and the adjacent City owned Christmas Hill Park for Urban Service
Area contiguity, and
WHEREAS, after further study and hearings the Council concurs
with said recommendation, and good cause appearing therefor,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City
of Gilroy approves, conditioned on development by Advanced Micro
Devices as an industrial park, and recommends for inclusion into
the Urban Service Area of the City of Gilroy the 100 acre central
portion of Assessor.s Parcels Noo 808-18-2 & 3 bounded by Uvas
Creek, Miller Avenue and Santa Teresa Boulevard, and shown as Parcel
3 in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, and the adjacent city owned
Christmas Hill Park, Assessor's Parcel No. 799-30-1, required for
contiguity to the existing Urban Service Area.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of September, 1980, by the
following vote:

TAYLOR and GOODRICH
