RESOLUTION NO. 80-96
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
CONDITIONALLY RECOMMENDING MODIFICATION OF THE
URBAN SERVICE AREA OF THE CITY OF GILROY WITHIN
THE COUNTY OF SANTA CLARA.
WHEREAS, the staff has recommended removal of various
parcels of land from the Urban Service Area of the City of Gilroy
if required by the Local Agency Formation Commission in exchange
for inclusion of the parcel of 100 acres for Advanced Micro Devices
described in Resolution 80-95, and
WHEREAS, the Council concurs with said recommendation, and
good cause appearing therefor,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City
of Gilroy approves the following list of parcels within the County
of Santa Clara identified by assessor's parcel numbers and recommends
them for removal from the Urban Service Area of the City of Gilroy
if the 100 acres described in Resolution 80-95 are included in the
Gilroy Urban Service Area and if required as an exchange by the
Local Agency Formation Commission:
The area is North of Highway 152, South of
Ronan Channel, East of Highway 101, and West of
L1agas Creek; and contains the following parcels:
