RESOLUTION NO. 77-5
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
CERTIFYING THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT FOR A PROPOSED
DEVELOPMENT BY SINGER HOUSING COMPANY
WHEREAS, after duly noticed public hearings as required by law,
the Planning Commission of the City of Gilroy has recommended by its
Resolution No. 76-37 that the City Council certify the Environmental
Impact Report for the proposed annexation, zoning, subdivision and
development of approximately 97 acres of land generally bounded by
Miller Avenue, Uvas Creek, and the Castlewood and Westwood Acres sub-
divisions in the City of Gilroy by Singer Housing Company; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, after examining the report finds that
it does adequately meet the requirements of the California Environmental
Quality Act,
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Environmental Impact Report prepared by
Terra Sol, Limited for the above described project be certified as'a
final report meeting all the requirements of the California Environmental
Quality Act.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of January, 1977, by the following
