RESOLUTION NO. 77-6 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY FINDING NO SIGNIFICANT LONG TERM ADVERSE IMPACT BASED UPON THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT FOR A PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT BY SINGER HOUSING COMPANY WHEREAS, after duly noticed public hearings as required by law, the Planning Commission of the City of Gilroy has made no finding by its Resolution No. 76-37 as to whether the proposed annexation, zoning, subdivision and development of approximately 97 acres of land generally bounded by Miller Avenue, Uvas Creek, and the Castlewood and Westwood Acres subdivisions in the City of Gilroy by Singer Housing Company will have a significant long term adverse impact on the human or natural environment; and WHEREAS, the City Council, after examining the Environmental Impact Report for the project finds that if proper mitigating measures are taken, the long term benefits outweigh possible long term adverse impacts on the environment, BE IT RESOLVED, that if proper mitigating measures are ta~en, as set forth in the Environmental Impact Report, the proposed project will not have a significant long term adverse impact on the human or natural environment.
