RESOLUTION NO. 77-18
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY MODIFYING
AND M1ENDING THE FEDERAL AID URBAN SYSTEM AND THE URBAN BOUNDARY
IN THE CITY OF GILROY.
WHEREAS, the City of Gilroy has adopted a Federal Aid
Urban System and Urban Boundary of selected routes in said City
and has filed with the Metropolitan Transportation Commission
and the State Department of Transportation a certain map indica-
ting its Federal Aid Urban System and Urban Boundary; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Gilroy did on
the 16th day of June, 1975 adopt Resolution No. 75-33 approving
said Federal Aid Urban System and Urban Boundary of selected
routes in said City; and
WHEREAS, said City desires to include additional streets
to is Federal Aid Urban System and Urban Boundary by modifying
and amending said System in accordance with the provisions of
Chapter 1 of Title 23 of the Code of Federal Regulations;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of
the City of Gilroy that said certain map of the Federal Aid Ur-
ban System and Urban Boundary of Gilroy, California, is hereby
modified and amended and the accompanying report and map of the
proposed Federal Aid Urban System and Urban Boundary entitled
Exhibit "A" is hereby approved and adopted; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution
be forwarded to the Metropolitan Transportation Commission and
to the State Department of Transportation; and that
The City Council of the City of Gilroy hereby petitions
the State Department of Transportation to approve the aforemen-
tioned map and report marked Exhibit "A" modifying and amending
the Federal Aid Urban System and Urban Boundary of selected
routes in the City.
