RESOLUTION NO. 77-19
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF GILROY MODIFYING AND A}ffiNDING THE
SELECT SYSTEM OF CITY STREETS AS APPROVED BY THE CALIFORNIA
HIGHWAY COMMISSION.
WHEREAS, the City of Gilroy has adopted a Select System
of City Streets and has filed with the State Department of Public
(
Works now called the State Department of Transportation a cer-
tain report and map indicating its Select System; and
\
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Gilroy did on
the 2nd day of August, 1976 adopt Resolution No. 76-42 modifying
and amending the Select System of the City streets; and
WHEREAS, said City further desires to include additional
streets and revise the termini of its select streets by modifying
and amending said Select System in accordance with Section 186.3
of the Streets and Highways Code;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of
the City of Gilroy that said certain map and report of the Select
System of Gilroy, CAlifornia, approved by resolution duly passed
by the California Highway Commission at its meeting of February
24, 1965 is hereby modified and amended and the accompanying report
and map of the proposed Select System entitled Exhibit "A" is here-
by approved and adopted; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that three (3) conies of this reso-
1ution be filed with said map and report marked Exhibit "A" in the
office of the Department of Transportation, State of California,
through the District Office of the Division of Highways; and that
The City Council of the City of Gilroy hereby petitions
the State Department of Transportation to approve the aforemen-

the Select System of City streets.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of February, 1977, by
