RESOLUTION NO. 77-35
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY TO JOIN
IN CONGRATULATIONS OF LLOYD C. FOWLER, THE CHIEF ENGINEER OF
SANTA CLARA VALLEY WATER DISTRICT, FOR BEING CHOSEN AS ONE OF
THE TOP TEN PUBLIC WORKSMEN OF THE YEAR 1977.
WHEREAS, Lloyd C. Fowler, the Chief Engineer of Santa
Clara Valley Water District, has been chosen to receive a singular
and important honor from the American Public Works Association
and the seven other organizations co-sponsoring National Public
Works Week; and
WHEREAS, such recognition is well deserved and it is
appropriate that this City Council join therein;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Gilroy that LLOYD C. FOl{LER, shall have the con-
gratulations and best wishes of this body upon his selection as
one of the "Top Ten Public Works Men-of-the Year" for 1977.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of May, 1977, by the
