RES.oLUT[ON NO r;-79
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF GILROY COMMENDING THE GILROY
UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT'S MENTALLY GIFTED PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Gilroy Unified School District provides a spec;al
program for gifted students, Fourth through Sixth Grades; and
WHEREAS, their instructor, Mrs. Teddi Oteri and City Staff
members, Fred O. Wood, Cecil A. Reinsch, Michel Bedaux and David Hansen,
arr'inged a five (5) session course for this group dwelling, primarU.y,
on local growth and water conservation; and
WHEREAS, on December 5, 1977, the class presented their combined
report to the Gilroy City Council at their regular meeting; and
WHEREAS, the Gilroy City Council, Staff, and a full capacity
audience in attendance, were thoroughly impressed with the poised,
constructive, and informative presentations by the class members.
NOH, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Gilroy City Council
'~ereby extends its commendations to the Gifted Students Program, their
teacher, Mrs. Oteri, and their program coordinator, Mr. Russell J.
Hendrickson.
BE 1'1' FURTHER RESOLVED, that we wish these particular students
and the program every continued success.
