RESOLUTION OF THE GILROY CITY COUNCIL COMMENDING THE SERVICES OF GILROY
POLICE SERGEANT JAMES J. CALVINO UPON HIS RETIREMENT.
WHEREAS~ Sergeant Calvino has been employed by the Gilroy Police
Department for the past fifteen (15) years and five (5) months; and
WHEREAS~ Sergeant Calvino is now taking a service retirement
from the City; and
WHEREAS) Sergeant Calvino is known throughout the community for
his devotion to the service of his fellow beings, his honesty in dealing
with the general public and his ability to maintain a calm and deliberate
judgement even in the most adverse situations; and
WHEREAS) the Gilroy City Council desires to take this opportu-
nity to commend Sergeant Calvino's past services to the City of Gilroy.
NOW~ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED) that the Gilroy City Council
does hereby commend and honor Sergeant Calvino for the efficient, cour-
teous and outstanding service he has provided to the citizenry of the
City of Gilroy during his tenure upon our local Police Force.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED) that we do hereby also extend our best
wishes to Sergeant Calvino and his family for continued success and
happiness.
