RESOLUTION NO. 76-23
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
ADOPTING THE CLASSIFICATION PLAN DESCRIBING THE VARIOUS
EMPLOYEE POSITIONS IN THE CITY OF GILROY
WHEREAS, the existing Classification Plan, adopted in May
of 1970, was in need of being updated; and
WHEREAS, a study was made by City Staff of the existing
classifications, discussions were held with employees on all
levels of employment, and, where appropriate, classifications
were updated and new titles and classifications were developed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the new updated
Classification Plan is hereby adopted and any existing resolutions
relating to employee classifications are hereby rescinded.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of May, 1976, by the
folloW'ing vote:
AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: Childers, DeBell, Duffin, Link,
Pate, Stout and Goodrich
