RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY WITHDP~WING FROH THE
GILROY RURAL FIRE DISTRICT TERRITORY THEREIN RECENTLY A~NEXED TO THE
CITY OF GILROY UNDER THE DESIGNATION "PACHECO PASS ANNEXATION 76-2
TO THE CITY OF GILROY".
WHEREAS, there has heretofore and on the 19th day of July,
1976, been annexed to the City of Gilroy, under the designation of
"PACHECO PASS ANNEXATION 76-2 TO THE CITY OF GILROY" the following
described property located in the County of Santa Clara, State of
California, to wit:
BEING a portion of Las Animas Ranch Lots t+3 and 4L~ as
shown on Map No. 7 accompanying the Final Report of the
Referees in the Las Animas Rancho Partition Suite,
Action No. 5536 had in the Superior Court of the State
of California, in and for the County of Santa Clara,
and being also a portion of that certain 41.117 acre
parcel of land shown as Parcel One, Henry Brem on Hap
entitled "Record of Survey for Brem Brothers in Ranch
Lots 43, 44 and 47" "t-vhich- map is recorded in Book 69 of
Maps at page 17, Records of Santa Clara County, and
being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at the intersection of the Southwesterly line
of the Pacheco Pass Highway with the line common to the
Rancho Las Animas & San Ysidro, and running thence along
said common line S. 310 26' 55" E. 169.43 feet to the
northwesterly line of that certain parcel of land con-
veyed to the State of California by deed from Henry Brem,
recorded in Volume 8098 at page 543, Official Records of
Santa Clara County; thence along said northwesterly line
S. 750 33' 39" vI. 268.59 feet; thence along a curve to
the right with a radius of 347.00 feet, through a central
angle of 260 29' 30" for a distance of 160. 4L~ feet to an
intersection with the line common to Las Animas Ranch
Lots 43 and 44 as shown on said Record of Survey Map;
thence along said common line N. 00 47' 55'! E. 271.68
feet to the northerly common corner to said Ranch Lots
in the southwesterly line of Pacheco Pass Highway; thence
along the southwesterly line of said Highway, being also
the southwesterly line of Pacheco Pass Annexation 70-6
to the City of Gilroy as described in Ordinance No. 888
of said City adopted June 15, 1970 S. 730 49' 55" E.
57.80 feet and S. 810 27' 55" E. 274.43 feet to the point
of beginning, and
CONTAINING THEREIN 1.899 acres of land more or less, and,
lVHEREAS, said premises so annexed to the City of Gilroy were
at the time of such annexation, included in and formed a part of the

the Gilroy Rural Fire District, and the Council of the City desires
that said territory so annexed be withdrawn from said fire protection
district.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that said territory herein-
before described and so annexed to the City of Gilroy as "PACHECO PASS
ANNEXATION 76-2 TO THE CITY OF GILROY" be and the same is hereby with-
drawn from said Gilroy Rural Fi.re District.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of August, 1976, by the
