RESOLUTION NO. 75-11
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY APPROVING
AND PROVIDING FOR THE EXECUTION OF A PROJECT AGREEMENT FOR LAND
AND WATER CONSERVATION FUND PROJECT NO. 06-00377) CHRISTMAS HILL
PARK DEVELOPMENT) BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF GILROY AND THE STATE
OF CALIFORNIA) RESOURCES AGENCY) DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREA-
TION.
The City Council of the City of Gilroy resolves as follows:
Section 1. The Project Agreement attached hereto as Exhibit A
between the City of Gilroy and the State of California, the terms of which
provision is made for federal reimbursement of an amount not to exceed $40,800.
under provisions of the Land and Water Conservation Fund Act of 1965 for the
development of Project No. 06-00377, Christmas Hill Park Development, as des-
cribed below,
This project includes site preparation and grading, installation
of baseball backstop and irrigation revision, irrigation, and
domestic water systems, construction of a natural children's
play area, installation of barbecue areas (including pits, tables,
maintainable walking surfaces), installation of approximately
10,000 square feet of turf area and tree planting.
is hereby approved in all respects.
Section 2. The City Administrator of the City of Gilroy is here-
by authorized and directed to execute five copies of said Project Agreement.
Section 3. The City of Gilroy clerk shall certify to the passage
of this resolution by the City of Gilroy and it shall thereupon take effect.
