RESOLUTION NO. 75~12
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY WITHDRAWING FROM THE

TO THE CITY OF GILROY".
WHEREAS,) there has heretofore and on the 7th day of April
1975, been annexed to the City of Gilroy, under the designation of IIPACHECO PASS
ANNEXATION 75-2 TO THE CITY OF GILROYII the fOllowing described property located
in the County of Santa Clara, State of California, to wit:
BEGINNING at an iron pipe marking the intersection
of the centerline of Miller Slough with the souther-
ly 1 ine of Pacheco Pass Highway (66 feet wide) as
shown on a map of the IIRecord of Survey of a Portion
of Rancho San Ysidro, (John Gilroy Grant) Gentry
Division Consolidated Foods Corporation", said map
is recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of
Santa Clara County, California, in Book 69 of Maps,
at page 23 therein;
thence along the said centerline of Miller Slouth
being the existing City Limits I ine of the City of
Gi I roy as establ ished by the Pacheco Pass Annexa-
tion 70-6, Ordinance No. 888 on June 15, 1970, the
following courses and distances:
S. 060 30' W., 135.00 feet,
S. 40040' E., 162.76 feet;
and S. 210451 E., 220.00 feet to the point of
intersection with the southeasterly I ine of that
certain 18.634 acre parcel of land conveyed to Ca-
mille T. Serafin, et aI, through Judgement of Final
Distribution and recorded by instrument on October I,
1973 in the Office of said County Recorder, in Book
0588 of Official Records, at page 618 therein;
thence along the boundary of said 18.634 acre parcel
of land S. 510 151 W., 825.06 feet to the easterly
line of that certain parcel of land conveyed to
Luigi Matteucci by deed, fi led for record in the
Office of the said County Recorder in Book 470 of
Official Records, at page 134 therein;
thence along said easterly line of said land of
Matteucci N. 320 091 W., 1345.14 feet, more or less,
to the point of intersection with the said southerly
line of Pacheco Pass Highway (being also the exist-
ing City Limits line);

thence along said southerly line of Pacheco Pass
Highway, the fol lowing courses and distances:
S. 830 241 E., 744.56 feet to the point of
tangency with a 1967 foot radius curve to
the right;
thence along the arc of said curve through a
central angle of 30 ]21, an arc length of
109.86 feet;
thence S. 800121 E., 304.53 feet to the Point
of Beginning, and
CONTAINING THEREIN 18.634 acres more ore less, and,
WHEREAS) said premises so annexed to the City of Gilroy were at
the time of such annexation, included in and formed a part of the Gilroy Rural
Fire District, and the Council of the City desires that said territory so annexed
be withdrawn from said fire protection district.
NOW) THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED) that said territory hereinbefore
described and so annexed to the City of Gilroy as "PACHECO PASS ANNEXATION 75-1 TO
THE CITY OF GILROYII be and the same is hereby withdrawn from said Gilroy Rural Fire
District.
