CITY OF GILROY
RESOLUTION NO. 75-13
PETITION FOR ANNEXATION OF NON-CONTIGUOUS TERRITORY OWNED BY THE
CITY SITUATED WITHIN THE UNINCORPORATED AREA OF SANTA CLARA
COUNTY.
WHEREAS) on Llagas Creek, between Bloomfield and Luchessa Avenues,
hereinafter referred to as SEWER FARM NO. 4 ANNEXATION 75-3 TO THE CITY OF
GILROY and more particularly described in that real property description marked
Exhibit "B", is territory owned by the CITY for emergency industrial wastewater
ponding, is situated within the unincorporated area of the County of Santa
Clara, and is not contiguous with the CITY; and
WHEREAS) on April 2, 1975
, the LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION COM-
MISSION of Santa Clara County approved the annexation of SEWER FARM NO. 4
ANNEXATION 75-3 TO THE CITY OF GILROY;
NOW) THEREFORE) BE IT RESOLVED AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED
BY the City Council of the City of Gilroy, County of Santa Clara, State of
California that pursuant to the provisions of Article III, Chapter 1, Part 2,
Division 2, Title IV, commencing at Section 35201.5 of the Government Code,
the City Council hereby petitions the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS of the County of
Santa Clara by requesting its approval of the annexation of SEWER FARM NO.4
ANNEXATION 75-3 TO THE CITY OF GILROY, as real property is shown upon that
map which is marked Exhibit "A", and is more particularly described in that
description marked Exhibit "B", both of which exhibits are annexed hereto,
and by this reference incorporated herein.
BE I T FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Cl erk is authori zed and
is hereby directed to transmit and file certified copies of this Resolution
with the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS of Santa Clara County for action thereon.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of April, 1975, by the follow-

SEWER FARM NO.4 ANNEXATION 75-3 TO THE CITY OF GILROY
All that certain real property in the County of Santa Clara, State
of California, described as follows:
Being a portion of Ranch Lot 52 of the Las Animas Rancho. as shown
on the record survey map filed for record in the Office of the
County Recorder of said County of Santa Clara, in Book 23 of Maps,
at page 10 therein, and being further described as follows:
Beginning at an iron pipe marking the easterly common corner of the
northwesterly I ine of said Ranch Lot 52 and the southeasterly line
of the City of Gilroy Sewer Farm as shown on the record of survey
map, filed for record in the Office of the said Recorder, in Book
262 of maps, at Page 6 therein; thence along the common 1 ine of
said Ranch Lot 52, and said City of Gilroy Sewer Farm, South 540
32' 30" West, 1031.94 feet to the true point of beginning; thence
along the said common] ine, the following two courses and distances:
South 540 32' 30" West, 1281.71 feet to the northwesterly corner of
said Ranch Lot 52, and South 350 20' East 317.03 feet to an iron
pipe; thence continuing along the southwesterly I ine of said Ranch
Lot 52, South 350 241 16" East, 3670.97 feet to the Southwesterly
corner of said Ranch Lot 52, thence along the southeasterly line of
Ranch Lot 5 2 , North 5 4 0 3 6' 2 III East, I 54 4 . 3 6 feet ; thence run n i n g
northwest~rly along the existing berm on the westerly side of Llagas
Creek, the following courses and distances:
North 340 34' 02" West, 496.02 feet; North 350 471 30" West, 551.01

430.03 feet; North 350 221 33" West, 476.00 feet; North 360 46' 52"
