RESOLUTION NO. 75-42
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SANTA CLARA COUNTY HOUSING AUTHORITY TO
ACT AS THE DESIGNATED AGENCY FOR THE CITY OF GILROY TO APPLY FOR AND
ADMINISTER SECTION 8 RENTAL HOUSING SUPPLE~ffiNTS PURSUANT TO THE
HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ACT OF 1974.
WHEREAS, Section 8 of Title II of the Housing and Community
Development Act of 1974 allocates funds for rental housing assis-
tance; and
WHEREAS, the Santa Clara County Housing Authority is cur-
rently administering other housing programs in the City of Gilroy,
and would be an appropriate agency to make application for and ad-
minister the new rental housing assistance program in Gilroy;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Gilroy that the Santa Clara County Housing Authority is
hereby authorized to act as the designated agency of the City of
Gilroy to apply for and administer rental housing assistance funds
pursuant to Section 8 of Title II of the Housing and Community
Development Act of 1974.

October, 1975, by the following vote:
