RESOLUTION NO. 75-57
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
DESIGNATING PARKING TIME LIMITS WITHIN THE CITY
Upon recommendation by the Chief of Police and good cause
appearing therefor,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
pursuant to Section 15.69 of the Gilroy City Code that the following
parking time limits and prohibitions shall apply on designated streets
in the City of Gilroy when properly posted at the direction of the
City Administrator.
A. TWO HOUR LIMIT
1. On any day except Sundays and holidays between the
hours of 7:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M.:
a. On Monterey Street, between Leavesley Road
and Eighth Street.
b. On Eigleberry Street, between Third Street
and Sixth Street.
c. On the east side of Railroad Street, between
Old Gilroy Street and Lewis Street and the west side
of Railroad Street between Old Gilroy Street and Martin
Street.
d. On Fourth Street, between Monterey Street and
Eigleberry Street.
e. On Fifth Street, between Monterey Street and
Eigleberry Street.
f. On Sixth Street, between Eigleberry Street
and the Southern Pacific Company right-of-way.
g. On Lewis Street, between Monterey Street and
the Southern Pacific Company right-of-way.
h. On Martin Street. between Monterey Street
and the Southern Pacific Company right-of-way.
i. On Third Street. between Eigleberry' Street
and Monterey Street.

2. On any school day between the hours of 9:00 A.M.
and 3: 00 P. M. :
a. On the south side of I.O.O.F. Avenue between
Forest Street and Murray Avenue.
b. On Forest Street, between I.O.O.F. Avenue
and Miller Slough.
c. On all of Walnut Lane.
B. ONE HOUR LIMIT, on any day except Sundays and holidays between
the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M.:
1. On the south side of I.O.O.F. Avenue, between the
Southern Pacific right-of-way ana 'Forest Street.
2. On the north side of I.O.O.F. Avenue between
Forest Street and Murray Avenue.
C. THIRTY MINUTE LIMIT, on any street paved to the curb on any
day between the hours of 2:00 A.M. and 4:30 A.M.
D. PARKING PROHIBITED
1. On the west side of Murray Avenue, between I.O.O.F
Avenue and the north boundary of Gilroy High School, on any
school day between 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M.
2. On the north side of I.O.O.F. Avenue, between the
Southern Pacific right-of-way and Forest Street, at any time.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of November, 1975, to become
effective on December 3, 1975, by the following vote:
