RESOLUTION NO. 75-61
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
ESTABLISHING FEES FOR PROCESSING STATE~ffiNTS ~~D MAPS
FILED PURSUANT TO SECTION 54900, ET. SEQ., OF THE
GOVERNMENT CODE
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Gilroy:
WHEREAS, the State Board of Equalization adopts and assesses
fees on the City of Gilroy under Section 54902.5 of the Government
Code to offset costs for supplying, maintaining and revising tax
area maps, and
WHEREAS, such costs should be borne by those benefitting
from such services, and not the City of Gilroy,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
(1) That applicants, proponents and owners shall be required to
pay processing fees to the City of Gilroy equal to those fees assessed
to the City of Gilroy by the Board of Equalization for processing
statements and maps filed pursuant to Section 54900, et.~., of the
Government Code.
(2) The amount of the fees to be paid to the City of Gilroy
shall be determined by reference to the then current schedule of
processing fees adopted by the State Board of Equalization in compliance
with Section 54902.5 of the Government Code.
(3) Fees due the City of Gilroy hereunder shall be paid prior
to commencing the first requested action by the City.
(4) This Resolution supersedes ~esolution 1815 passed and
adopted June 3, 1974.
