RESOLUTION NO. 1709
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE A GRANT DEED.
WHEREAS, the City of Gilroy acquired a small triangular shaped
parcel at the southeast corner of the intersection of Banes Lane and Chest-
nut Street, Gilroy, California; and
WHEREAS, said triangular parcel of land is more particularly
described in the attached grant deed conveying said parcel from the
City of Gilroy, a municipal corporation to Sarah A. Brem; and
WHEREAS, the City previously agreed to convey this triangular
parcel of excess land to Sarah A. Brem in partial consideration for her
dedication of lands (south of the triangular parcel) to the City of
Gilroy for street (Chestnut Street) purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Gilroy City Council that it
does hereby authorize the Mayor to execute the grant deed attached hereto
to fulfill the above described exchange of lands.
