RESOLUTION NO. 1741
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GILROY ADOPTING THE NATIONAL ELECTRICAL
CODE, 1971 EDITION
WHEREAS, Section 6.1 of the Gilroy City Code provides
that the latest edition of the National Electrical Code shall be
submitted to the Council to became effective within the City
upon approval by resolution, subject to possible modifications
and amendments, and
WHEREAS, the 1971 edition of said code has been sub-
mitted without modifications or amendment by the City Engineer.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
That the National Electrical Code 1971 edition, shall
apply to construction of all kinds in the City of Gilroy.
That a certified copy of this resolution be kept on file
in the office of the City Engineer for examination by interested
persons.
That this resolution shall become effective thirty (30)
days after its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of May, 1973, by the
following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: DeBELL, DUFFIN, HUGHAN, SILVA,
and GOODRICH
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: PATE and STOUT
