RESOLUTION NO. 1755
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A GRANT DEED.
WHEREAS, the City of Gilroy acquired a small arc shaped
parcel of land adjacent to the northeasterly corner of the Apostolic
Assembly of Faith in Christ Jesus property; and
WHEREAS, said parcel of land is more particularly described
in the attached grant deed and shown on the accompanying map in red, con-
veying said parcel from the City of Gilroy, a municipal corporation to the
Apostolic Assembly of Faith in Christ Jesus; and
WHEREAS, the City agrees to convey this parcel of excess
land to the Apostolic Assembly of Faith in Christ Jesus in exchange for
their dedication of a small triangular shaped parcel located west of the
said arc shaped parcel as shown on the accompanying map in green, to the
City of Gilroy for street purposes.
NOW, TH EREFORE, BE I T RES OLVED by the G i 1 roy City Counc i 1
that it does hereby authorize the Mayor to execute the grant deed attached
hereto to fulfill the above described exchange of lands.

GRANT DEED
The CITY OF GILROY, a municipal corporation, does hereby grant to the
APOSTOLIC ASSEMBLY OF FAITH IN CHRIST JESUS, all that certain property situate
in the City of Gilroy, County of Santa Clara, State of California, being a portion
of Las Animas Ranch Lot 25 as shown on Map No. 7 accompanying a final report of

the Referees of the Las Animas Rancho Partition SJit No. 5536 had in the Superior

Court of Cal ifornia and being further described follows:
BEGINNING at the northwesterly corner of the lands of the Apostol ic
Assembly,of Faith, Incorporated, as said corner is shown on that
certain map of the 'IRecord of Survey of Northside Park" filed for record
in the Office of the County Recorder of Santa Clara County, Cal ifornia,
in Book 291 of Maps at page 35 therein; thence along the southerly
common line of lands of J. Roman and said Apostolic Assembly of Faith,
Incorporated, N88033150"E, 98.79 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING;
thence leaving said common line N70038ISOI'E, 23.06 feet to the point of
tangency with a 20 foot radius curve to the right, thence along the
arc of said curve through a central angle of 6rs61301' an arc length
of 23.72 feet to the point of tangency with the southwesterly line of
Church Street (86 feet wide);
Thence along said southwesterly 1 ine of Church Street S41024140''E,
1.19 feet to the point of intersection with said common line of lands of J.
Roman and the Apostolic Assembly of Faith, Incorporated;
Thence along east aforesaid common line S88033150"W, 44.18 feet to the
TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.
