RESOLUTION NO. 1763
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY WITHDRAWNING FROM THE GILROY
RURAL FIRE DISTRICT TERRITORY THEREIN RECENTLY ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF GILROY
UNDER THE DESIGNATION "PACHECO PASS ANNEXATION 73-6 TO THE CITY OF GILROY".
WHEREAS, there has heretofore and on the 17th day of September, 1973,
been annexed to the City of G i 1 roy, under the des i gna t i on of "PACH ECO PASS
ANNEXATION 73-6 TO THE CITY OF GILROY" the following described property
located in the County of Santa Clara, State of California, to wit:
BEING a portion of the San Ysidro Rancho (Gilroy portion) and
being a portion of the 28.26 acre tract of land conveyed to
George C. White et ux, by Deed recorded January 28, 1918 in
Book 467 of Deeds, page 250, Santa Clara County Records, and
described as follows:
"BEGINNING at a one inch pipe in the easterly line of
said 28.26 acre tract of land distant thereon N. 00 19'
14" W. 1003.15 feet from a 4 inch pipe at corner desig-
nated "S-4" of said 28.26 acre tract of land; thence S.
890 40' 46" W. 100 feet; thence N. 00 19' 14" W. 229.74
feet to an iron pipe in the southerly line of the State
Highway, IV-SCL-32A, known as the Pacheco Pass Highway;
thence along the Southerly line of said State Highway
S. 890 20' l5" E. 88.99 feet and easterly along the arc
of a curve to the right having a radius of 2950, feet
through an angle of 00 121 51", an arc distance of 11.03
feet to an iron pipe in the easterly line of said 28.26
acre tract of land; thence leaving said Highway S. 00 191
14" E. 228.00 feet to the point of beginning, and being
the 0.525 of an acre parcel of land designated Parcel 2
on the Map of Record of Survey of a portion of Rancho
San Ysidro filed December 6, 1966 in Book 217 of Maps,
page 6, Santa Clara County Records, and
CONTAINING THEREIN 0.525 acres, more or less", and,
WHEREAS, said premises so annexed to the City of Gilroy were at the
time of such annexation, included in and formed a part of the Gilroy Rural
Fire District, and the Council of the City desires that said territory so
annexed be withdrawn from said fire protection district.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that said territory hereinbefore des-
cribed and so annexed to the City of Gilroy as "PACHECO PASS ANNEXATION 73-6
TO THE CITY OF GILROY" be and the same is hereby wi thdrawn from sa i d G i I roy
Rural Fire District.
