RESOLUTION NO. 1767
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GILROY DESIGNATING AND DESCRIBING TRUCK
TRAFFIC ROUTES WITHIN THE CITY
Upon recommendation by the Director of Public Works
and good cause appearing therefor,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GILROY pursuant to Section 15.100 of the Gilroy City Code
that the following streets and portions of streets shall
constitute and are hereby designated as truck traffic routes,
and the City Administrator and Director of Public Works are
hereby directed to erect and maintain appropriate signs in
conformance herewith.
1. Route 101 and State Route 152.
2. Leavesley Road from Route 101 to the east city
limits.
3. Murray Avenue from Leavesley Road to I.O.O.F.
Avenue; then along I,O.O.F. Avenue to Forest Street; then
along Forest Street to Lewis Street; then along Lewis Street
to Railroad Street; then along Railroad Street to Old Gilroy
Street; then along Old Gilroy Street to Alexander Street; then
along Alexander Street to Tenth Street.
4. Swanston Lane from Leavesley Road to Casey Lane;
then along Casey Lane to Route 101.
5. Forest Street from Old Gilroy Street to Lewis
Street.
6. Chestnut Street from Old Gilroy Street to Luchessa
Lane.
7. Luchessa Lane from Route 101 to the east city limits.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of October, 1973, by
the following vote:
