RESOLUTION NO. 1769
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY ADOPTING
THE UNIFORM MECHANICAL CODE, 1973 EDITION.
WHEREAS, Section 6.1 of the Gilroy City Code provides that the
latest edition of the Uniform Mechanical Code shall be submitted to the
Council to become effective within the City upon approval by resolution;
and
WHEREAS, the 1973 Edition of said Code has been submitted with-
out modifications and amendments by the Senior Building Inspector for
the City of Gilroy.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
That the Uniform Mechanical Code, 1973 Edition, shall apply to
construction of all kinds in the City of Gilroy.
That permit fees under this Uniform Mechanical Code shall be as
shown in the 1973 Uniform Mechanical Code.
That a certified copy of this resolution be kept on file in the
office of the City Clerk for examination by interested persons.
