RESOLUTION NO. 1774
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
RENAMING A PORTION OF EL CERRITO WAY "PARISH WAY",
RENAMING SOLORZANO COURT "LINCOLN COURT", AND
NAMING A NEW STREET "PARK DRIVE".
Upon recommendation of the Planning Commission, and
good cause appearing therefor;
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY:
That the north-south portion of El Cerrito Way extending
south from Welburn Avenue in line with Parish Way be renamed
PARISH WAY.
That the new east-west street in the City of Gilroy on
the northern boundary of Las Animas Park and extending west from
Church Street be named PARK DRIVE.
That Solorzano Court in the City of Gilroy be renamed
LINCOLN COURT.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Official Map of the City
of Gilroy be amended accordingly.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of November, 1973, by the
following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: DeBELL, DUFFIN, HUGHAN, PATE,
SILVA, STOUT and GOODRICH
