RESOLUT ION NO. 1620
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY AUTHORIZING
THE CONVEYANCE OF EASEMENT FOR RAILROAD AND TRANSPORTATION
PURPOSES TO SOUTHERN PACIFIC TRANSPORTATION COMPANY, A DELAWARE
CORPORATION.
WHEREAS, the thirty (30)-foot wide right of way described in the
attached easement deed comprises a completed drill track fully located
within the Gilroy Industrial Park at Gilroy, Cal ifornia; and
WHEREAS, the Southern Pacific Transportation Company has agreed
to assume the responsibility of maintaining and operating this drill
track faci 1 i ty.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor of the City of
Gilroy be and he is hereby authorized to execute a conveyance of the
said right of way easement referred to above and fully described in the
attached easement deed to the Southern Pacific Transportation Company, a
Delaware corporation, in consideration for its assuming the maintenance
and operation of said drill track right of way.
