RESOLUTION NO. 1625
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF GILROY EXPRESSING TO THE INTER-CITY
COUNCIL THAT PROGRAMS SUCH AS THE FEDERAL SIGN-OFF GRANTS SHOULD
BE EXPLORED AND RECOMMENDED BY A COUNTY BODY REPRESENTING CITIES,
SUCH AS THE SANTA CLARA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS RATHER THAN
ONE INDIVIDUAL CITY.
The City Council of the City of Gilroy does resolve as follows:
That the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors and the Inter-
City Council be informed that it is the unanimous feeling of this Council
that such programs as the Federal Sign Off Grants should be explored and
recommended by a County body representing the cities, and it is strongly
recommended that the Board of Supervisors of Santa Clara County be desig-
nated as that body.
The foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted at
a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of Gilroy, duly held on
the 7th day of February, 1972, by the following roll call vote:
