Resolution 1660 RESOLUTION NO. 1660 RESOLUTION OF CITY COUNCIL ADOPTING BUDGET FOR SAID CITY FOR FISCAL YEAR 1972- 1973 AND APPROPRIATING PROPOSED EXPENDITURES FOR PURPOSES SET FORTH IN BUDGET. WHEREAS, the City Administrator has prepared and submitted to the City Council a budget for the City of Gilroy for the fiscal year 1972-1973 and said Counci 1 has carefully examined and considered the same and caused certain changes to be made therein before adopting the same, and WHEREAS, the said Counci 1 did thereafter fix the 19th day of June, 1972 at the hour of 8:00 o'clock p.m. as the time, at the Council Chambers in the City Hall at 7390 Rosanna Street, Gi lroy, California, as the time and place for a Public Hearing on said proposed budget and caused a notice thereof to be publ ished not less than 10 days prior to the hearing, in the Gilroy Dispatch in accordance with Section 1102 of the City Charter and had copies of said proposed budget available for inspection by the public in the office of the City Clerk at least 10 days prior to said hearing, and WHEREAS, said Public Hearing has been held at the time and place as hereinbefore fixed and as advertised and no one appea ring at said hearing to object to or oppose any part or item of said proposed budget, and WHEREAS, the Council did after the conclusion of said Public Hearing fu~ ther consider the said proposed budget and made certain revisions therein with- out increasing the total proposed expenditures beyond the anticipated revenues and surpluses for said fiscal year, and WHEREAS, the said proposed budget as finally revised provides for anti- cipated revenues totall ing $ 2,810,011.00 , besides anticipated unexpended balances existing in various funds on June 30, 1972, amounting to $ 1,476,283.00, and anticipated expenditures totall ing $ 3,608,501.00 , and said budget is now before the Council for adoption and said Council is satisfied with said budget as finally revised. - 1 - RESOLUTION NO. 1660 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED and it is hereby ordered that said pro- posed budget as revised be and the same is hereby adopted as the budget of the City of Gilroy for the fiscal year 1972-1973 and that a certified copy of said adopted budget shall be placed on file in the office of the City Clerk and be available for public inspection and that other copies thereof be made available for the individuals and agencies and organizations as specified in Section 1103 of the Charter, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that from the effective date of the budget, the several amounts stated therein as proposed expenditures shall be and become ap- propriated to the several offices, agencies and departments for the respective objects and purposes therein specified.
