RESOLUTION NO. 1677
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY, CALIFORNIA
APPROVING THE REGIONAL MASTER PLAN FOR SOUTH SANTA CLARA VALLEY
WASTEWATER TREATMENT FACILITIES.
WHEREAS, the City of Gilroy, California accepted an offer from the
United States Government for an advance for preparation of planning documents
pertaining to a public work described as Regional Master Plan for South Santa
Clara Valley Wastewater Treatment Faci lities; and
WHEREAS, CONSOER, TOWNSEND and ASSOCIATES was engaged to prepare
the planning documents for the aforesaid public work, and said architect and/or
engineer has completed documents and submitted them for approval ;and
WHEREAS, the completed planning documents have been carefully
studied and are considered to comprise adequate planning of the public work
essential to the community and within the financial ability of the City of
Gi lroy, California to construct;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, the governing
body of said applicant, that the planning documents submitted by CONSOER, TOWN-
SEND and ASSOCIATES as the basis for detai led planning of the Regional Master
Plan for South Santa Clara Val ley Wastewater Treatment Faci lities dated May,
1972, and the statements in Form HUD-4430, Request for Review and Approval of
Planning Documents, in connection with Department of Housing and Urban Develop-
ment Project No. P-Calif-3917, Contract No. H-602-4012 be and the same are
hereby approved; and that certified copies of this resolution be filed with the
Department of Housing and Urban Development.
