RESOLUTION NO. 1678
A RESOLUTION CALLING FOR BIDS ON SALE OF
IMPROVEMENT BONDS
RONAN AVENUE - SOUTH CHESTNUT STREET
PROJECT NO. 1971-1
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Gilroy, California,
that
1. The City Clerk of said City be, and she is hereby, directed to
call for the sale of improvement bonds to be issued pursuant to Resolution
No. 1647 of Preliminary Determination and of Intention adopted by this
Council on May IS, 1972. The Notice of Sale, in form to be prepared by
Wilson, Jones, Morton & Lynch, shall be given by the banks and bond houses
interested in the purchase of such bonds at least ten days before the date
of sale of said bonds. Said bids are to be received at 3:00 o.clock P.M.
on October 18, 1972, and will be referred to and considered by the Council
at its meeting at 8:00 o.clock P.M. on said date.
2. The City will furnish the legal opinion of the law firm of
Wilson, Jones, Morton & Lynch, San Mateo, California, unqualifiedly approv-
ing the legality of the proceedings and the issuance of said bonds.

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a full, true and correct copy
of a resolution duly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Gilroy, California, at a meeting thereof held on the 2nd day of October,
1972, by the following vote of the members thereof:

PATE, SILVA, STOUT and GOODRICH.
