RESOLUTION NO. 1687-A
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY URGING
SUPPORT OF SENATE BILL NO. 1261.
WHEREAS, the Gilroy City Council studied the content of Senate Bill
No. 1261, at their adjourned regular meeting of October 18, 1972; and
WHEREAS, it is the considered opinion of the Gilroy City Council
that this proposed amendment to the Public Library Services Act of 1963, will
clarify and equalize the existing Act.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Gilroy City Council hereby
respectfully requests all State Legislators from Santa Clara County to
continue or to support Senate Bill No. 1261.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of October, 1972 by the following
