RESOLUTION NO. 1698
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR PROTEMPORE TO EXECUTE A GRANT DEED.
WHEREAS, the City of Gilroy owns a ten (10) foot strip of excess
lands along the north line of Casey Lane between Swanston Lane and the
Southern Pacific Railroad right of way, Gilroy, California; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to exchange the above described
ten (10) foot strip of land for a similar ten (10) foot strip of land
along the west line of Swanston Lane between Casey Lane and Leavesley
Road for street purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Gilroy City Council that
it does hereby authorize the Mayor Protempore to execute the grant deed
attached hereto to fulfill the above described exchange of lands.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of December, 1972, by the
following vote:
