RESOLUTION NO. 1542
A RESOLUTION AWARDING SALE OF BONDS
TENTH STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
PROJECT NO. 1970-4
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Gilroy, California,
that
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 1517 of Preliminary Determi-
nation and of Intention, adopted by said Council on October 19, 1970,
and its Resolution calling for bids on the sale of bonds pursuant
thereto, adopted on December 21, 1970, notice of said sale has been
duly given;
WHEREAS, this is the time and place fixed therein for receiving
bids for the purchase of said bonds, and said bids have been received
and publicly opened, examined and declared by this Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows:
1. That all written bids received for the purchase of said bonds,
excepting the bid herein stated, be, and they are hereby, rejected, and
that said bonds be, and they are hereby, ordered sold to
JURAN AND MOODY, INC.
as the highest responsible bidder therefor, said sale to be subject to
all of the terms and conditions set forth in the Notice of Sale of said
bonds and in said accepted bid.
2. That the Director of Finance be, and he is hereby, directed
to have said bonds printed, and that the same be immediately signed,
sealed and delivered to said bidder on receipt of the amount therefor
and upon the performance of the conditions contained in said written
offer.
3. That the interest rate of said bonds be, and the same is hereby,
fixed at the rate stated in said bid.

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a full, true and cor-
rect copy of a resolution duly passed and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Gilroy, California, at a meeting, thereof
