RESOLUTION NO. 1544
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF GILROY AMENDING THE CLASSIFICATION PLAN FOR THE
CITY OF GILROY BY THE ADDITION OF CERTAIN CLASSIFICATIONS.
WHEREAS, the City Council Committee, who were appointed by Council
to study the Classification Plan, in their memorandum of October 13, 1970 did
recommend the establishment of the classification of Senior Account Clerk at
the same salary range of Senior Clerk Typist and;
WHEREAS, said Council Committee encouraged the Personnel Division
to periodically review existing classifications to keep them current with the
changing duties and departmental organization and assignments and;
WHEREAS, the existing Recreation Classifications have been reviewed
and updated by Staff, approved by the Personnel Commission on January 25, 1971
and;
WHEREAS, the classification of Mechanics Helper which was approved
by Council motion on August 3, 1970, has not been adopted by Council resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Classification Plan for the
City of Gi lroy be amended to include the following classifications:
1. Senior Account Clerk to be establ ished at same
salary range as Senior Clerk Typist.
2. Recreation Supervisor same as existing salary range.
3. Recreation Leader same as existing hourly wage range.
4. Leader A i de same as ex is t i ng hourI y wage range.
5. Sports Official same as existing hourly wage range.
6. Swimming Pool Manager same as existing hourly wage
range.
1. Assistant Swimming Pool Manager same as existing
hourly wage range.
8. Guard Instructor same as existing hourly wage range.
9. Swim Aide same as existing hourly wage range.
10. Mechanics Helper same as existing salary range.
