RESOLUTION NO. 1569
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY WITHDRAWING FROM THE GILROY RURAL
FIRE DISTRICT TERRITORY THEREIN RECENTLY ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF GILROY UNDER THE
DESIGNATION "SEWER FARM NO.3 ANNEXATION 70-13 TO THE CITY OF GILROY".
WHEREAS, there has heretofore and on the 14th day of April, 1971,
been annexed to the City of Gilroy, under the designation of "SEWER FARM NO.
3 ANNEXATION 70-13 TO THE CITY OF GILROY.. the following described property
located in the County of Santa Clara, State of California, to wit:
BEGINNING at L. A. 15 the common corner to Ranch Lots 48, 50
and 53 as described in the deed from Roy Rianda to Elsie R.
Rush dated March 1, 1962, recorded in the office of the County
Recorder, Santa Clara County, California in Book 5501 of Offi-
cial Records at page 102 therein;
THENCE along the line between Ranch Lots 48 and 53 S. 720 w.
67.98 feet to a corner of said parcel conveyed to Rush;
THENCE along the boundary of said parcel conveyed to Rush
S. 320 151 232.32 feet and N. 720 E. 66 feet to the point of
intersection with the common line between Ranch Lots 51 and
53 ;
THENCE along said common lines between Ranch Lots 51 and 53,
50 and 53; N. 310 461 33" W. 231.83 feet to the point of
beginning and containing 0.349 acres of land more or less.
Recorded in Book 8481 of Official Records at page 218
therein,
and,
WHEREAS, said premises so annexed to the City of Gilroy were at the
time of such annexation, included in and formed a part of the Gilroy Rural
Fire District, and the Council of the City desires that said territory so
annexed be withdrawn from said fire protection district.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that said territory hereinbefore des-
cribed and so annexed to the City of Gilroy as "SEWER FARM NO.3 ANNEXATION 70-13
TO THE CITY OF GILROY" be and the same is hereby wi thdrawn from sa i d G i 1 roy Rura 1
Fire District.
