RESOLUTION NO. 1611
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
ESTABLISHING ARTERIAL STOPS AT DESIGNATED
INTERSECTIONS IN THE CITY OF GILROY
Upon recommendation by the Director of Public Works and
good cause appearing therefor,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
pursuant to Section 15.40 of the Gilroy City Code that the
following are designated arterial stops, and the Director of
Public Works is hereby directed to erect and maintain arterial
stop signs in conformance herewith:
1. On Ninth Street stopping eastbound and westbound traffic
at its intersection with Alexander Street.
20 At the intersection of Sixth Street and Church Street
stopping traffic in all four directions.
3. At the intersection of I.O.O.F. Avenue and Forest Street
stopping traffic in all three directions.
40 On Rosanna Street stopping northbound and southbound
traffic at its intersection with Fifth Street.
50 On Fifth Street stopping eastbound and westbound
traffic at its intersection with Hanna Street.
6. On Dowdy Street stopping northbound and southbound
traffic at its intersection with Fifth Street.
7. At the intersection of Third Street and Westwood Drive
stopping traffic in all four directions.
8. At the intersection of I.O.O.F. Avenue and Chestnut
Street - Murray Avenue stopping traffic in all four directions.
9. On Broadway stopping eastbound and westbound traffic
at its intersection with Carmel Street.
