RESOLUTION NO. 1431
RESOLUTION OF THE GILROY CITY COUNCIL COMMENDING THE GRADUATION
OF MISS LUPE L. MARTINEZ FROM BUSINESS COLLEGE.
WHEREAS, Miss Martinez has, for the past one (1) year and four (4) months,
been employed by the City of Gilroy as a Clerk-Typist in the Police Department; and
WHEREAS, during this same period of time, Miss Martinez has continued a
course at Heald College and recently received a diploma in Career Secretarial; and
WHEREAS, Miss Martinez completed this course at her own expense and time;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Gilroy City Council does hereby
commend and congratulate Miss Lupe L. Martinez for the time and effort she has
expended to improve her working skills.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that we further extend our best wishes for continued
success and happiness to Miss Martinez.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of January, 1970, by the following vote:
