RESOLUTION NO. 1437
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY APPROVING AND
ADOPTING THE REPORT OF THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS OF THE
CITY OF GILROY ON THE COST OF CONSTRUCTION OF SIDEWALKS PUR-
SUANT TO CHAPTER 20, ARTICLE VII OF THE GILROY CITY CODE.
ASSESSING A PARCEL OF PROPERTY FOR THE COST OF CONSTRUCTION
AND DETERMINATION OF PAYMENT OF ASSESSMENTS
WHER6AS, the Director of Public Works of the City of Gilroy has here-
tofore proceeded in accordance with Chapter 20, Article VII, of the Gilroy
City Code with construction of certain sidewalks and has made his report
to the Council of said City of Gilroy on the costs of construction; and
WHER6AS, the 5th day of January, 1970, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock
p.m. in the Council Chambers in the City Hall, Gilroy, California, has been
set as the time and place for hearing the said report and recommendation
of said Director of Public Works, and notice of said hearing has been given
in accordance with law and the Ordinances of the City of Gilroy, and the
Council now having proceeded to the hearing os said report and recommenda-
tion, and no protests having been received, and the Council having duly
considered the same and determined that the said report should be adopted;
NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the following costs of construc-
tion are approved for assessment against the following parcel::
Assessor's Parcel 803-15-19, Elizabeth F. Sotello, 171 South Rosanna
Street, Gilroy, California $157.02
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said assessment shall each be paid in
three (3) equal annual installments with a minimum principal payment of
Fifty Two Dollars and Thirty Four Cents ($52.34) per year along with
interest on the unpaid balance of each to bear interest of six per cent
(6%) per tax year in accord with the following repayment schedules.
