RESOLUTION NO. 1449
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY APPROVING AND PROVIDING
FOR THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT FOR GRANT FOR URBAN BEAUTIFICATION AND IM-
PROVEMENT NO. CALIF. B-156 BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF GILROY, A MUNICIPAL
CORPORATION AND THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Gilroy as follows:
Section 1. The pending proposed Contract for Grant For Urban
Beautification And Improvement No. Cal if. B-156 is hereby in all respects
approved.
Section 2. The Mayor of the City of Gilroy is hereby authorized
and directed to execute Contract No. Calif. B-156(G) in two (2) counterparts
on behalf of the City of Gilroy and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to impress and attest the official seal of the Public Body on each
such counterparts and to forward such counterparts to the Department of
Housing and Urban Development, for execution on behalf of the Government
together with such other documents relative to the approval and execution
of such counterparts as may be required by the Government.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect in~ediately.
