RESOLUTION NO. 1453
WHEREAS, the City of Gilroy had received a request to purchase the
following described lands located within the City of Gilroy, County of
Santa Clara, State of California, to wit:
The southerly 5.36 feet of the northerly 80.36 feet
of Lot 3, Block 2, S. R. 2W; and
WHEREAS, the City subsequently determined that said 5.36 foot strip
of land was excess City lands and then requested each of the abutting owner-
ships to submit bids as an offer to purchase said strip of land; and
WHEREAS, only one adjacent owner, Hope Suniga, submitted such an
offer in the amount of $100; and
WHEREAS, the City accepted Hope Suniga's offer and the offered amount
has now been deposited in the City treasury.
BE IT NOW RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY, that the
Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a grant deed and
undertake all actions necessary to convey the titled ownership of said
5.36 foot strip of land to Hope Suniga.
PASSED AND APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of April, 1970, at a
regular meeting of the Council of the City of Gilroy.
