RESOLUTION NO. 1468
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING COMPLETION AND
DIRECTING ENGINEER TO FILE NOTICE
OF ACCEPTANCE OF COMPLETION
EIGHTH STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
PROJECT NO. 1969-2
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Gilroy, County of
Santa Clara, California, that
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has fi led with the Clerk of said City
his Engineer1s Certificate as to the completion of all of the work provided
to be done under and pursuant to the contract between said City of Gilroy
and George C. Renz Construction Co., Inc. dated June 1, 1970; and
WHEREAS, it appears to the satisfaction of this Council that
said work under said contract has been fully completed and done as provided
in said contract and the plans and specifications therein referred to;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows:
1. That acceptance of completion of said work be, and it is
hereby, made and ordered.
2. That the City Emgineer is directed to execute and file for
record with the County Recorder of the County of Santa Clara, Notice of
Acceptance of Completion thereof, as required by law.

I hereby certity that the foregoing is a full, true and correct
copy of a resolution duly passed and adopted by the City Council of the
City of Gilroy, California, at a meeting thereof held on the 1st day of
June, 1970, by the following vote of the members thereof:
AYES, and in favor thereof, Council Members: Batrez, Kennedy, Pate,
Silva, Wentworth, and Goodrich.
NOES, Council Members: None
