RESOLUTION NO. 1490
RESOLUTION TERMINATING AND DEFERRING FOR THREE (3) YEARS FURTHER ACTIONS TO REZONE
FROM IIC_2" (GENERAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT) TO IIR_111 (SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT)
10.5 ACRES LOCATED APPROXIMATELY 650 FEET SOUTH OF TENTH STREET ON THE WEST SIDE
OF MONTEREY STREET, GILROY, CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, this matter was duly heard at public hearing on July 20, 1970, by
the Gilroy City Council; and
WHEREAS, Council determined at that time that such a rezoning would pose
a serious hardship to an apparently un-informed recent purchaser of said lands.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Gilroy that
this re-zoning action be terminated at this time and any further such action be
deferred for a three (3) year period following the date of this resolution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of July, 1970, by the following vote:
