RESOLUTION NO. 1495
A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING AMENDED ASSESSMENT
NORTH CHURCH STREET EXTENSION - PROJECT NO. 1966-1
ASSESSMENT NOS. 6A AND 7
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Gilroy,
Santa Clara County, California, that
WHEREAS, said Council did on the 6th day of July, 1970,
II adopt its resolution ordering Bill Henry, the Director of Public

Works of said City, to make and file with said Council an amended
assessment of all parcels of property the former assessment on
which, under Resolution of Intention No. 1028 adopted by said
II Council on June 20, 1966, are designated upon the original
assessment and diagram and confirmed by said Council on August 1,\
1966, and recorded in the office of the Superintendent of Streets
as Diagram and Assessment Nos. 6A and 7;
WHEREAS, said Director of Public Works did, on the 6th
II day of July, 1970, pursuant to resolution ordering same, file
with the City Clerk an amended assessment and diagram;
WHEREAS, said Council fixed Monday, the 3rd day of August,
1970, as the time for hearing said amended assessment and caused
notice of said hearing to be published twice in the Gilroy
Evening Dispatch, the first publication being fifteen (15) days
before said hearing, as appears from the affidavit on file in the
office of the City Clerk of said City; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said hearing,
no protests or objections were made or presented to the proposed
amended assessment, and all matters and things pertaining to
said amended assessment were duly heard and considered by said
Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that said amended assess-
ment and diagram filed with the City Clerk of said City pursuant

to resolution ordering same, be, and the same is hereby, rati-
fied, approved and confirmed.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the City Clerk of said City
shall deliver said amended assessment to the Superintendent of
Streets, together with a certified copy of this resolution there
to attached, and said Superintendent of Streets shall thereupon
record such amended assessment in his office with a certificate
at the end thereof by the City Clerk of said City that it is the
amended assessment approved by the said Council on August 3,
1970.
The Superintendent of Streets shall note opposite the
several assessments in said original Diagram and Assessment that

it has been displaced by said amended assessment, giving its I
date, and shall credit upon such amended assessments all paymentsl
theretofore made upon such original assessment. When said
amended assessment has been recorded, the Superintendent of
Streets shall cause the original assessment involved to be can-
celled.
The City Clerk shall file the amended assessment as con-
firmed or modified by the City Council with the County Auditor,
who shall annually thereafter enter upon the assessment roll the
installments becoming due on each component part of the original
parcel opposite the description of the respective parcels so
assessed.
