RESOLUTION NO. 1510
A RESOLUTION CALLING FOR BIDS AND APPROVING
OFFICIAL NOTICE OF SALE AND PROSPECTUS
CITY OF GILROY $950,000 GENERAL OBLIGATION
BONDS OF 1969
$600,000 SECOND DIVISION
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Gilroy,
California, that it be, and it is hereby, ORDERED and DETERMINED
as follows:
1. Bids shall be called by the City Clerk of said City
for the sale of $600,000 - Second Division of City of Gilroy
General Obligation Bonds of 1969, being the Second Division of
an issue of bonds in the total principal amount of $950,000
approved by the electors of said City at an election thereon
duly held on April 8, 1969.
2. The forms of Official Notice of Sale and Prospectus
supporting the offering of said bonds are hereby approved.
3. The City Clerk shall cause copies of said Official Notice
of Sale and Prospectus to be mailed to the various banks and bond
houses and other persons interested in the purchase of such bonds
at least ten (10) days before the date said bids are to be opened.
4. This Council will furnish the legal opinion of the law
firm of Wilson, Jones, Morton & Lynch, San Mateo, California
unqualifiedly approving the legality of the proceedings and the
issuance of said bonds.

Council of the City of Gilroy, California, at a meeting thereof
