RESOlUTI ON NO. 1523
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF GILROY AUTHORIZING THE DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SERVICES
OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA TO PURCHASE VEHICLE TIRES.
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the availability of automotive tires
through cooperatively purchasing with the State of California and has determined
that it is economically to its advantage to purchase said tires through said
cooperatively purchasing procedure.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the City Council of the City of Gilroy
does hereby authorize the Office of Procurement, Department of General Services
of the State of California, to purchase automobile tires as requested by the Pur-
chasing Division for and on behalf of the City of Gilroy, pursuant to Section
14814 of the Government Code, and that Cecil A. Reinsch, Purchasing Agent, is
hereby authorized and directed to sign and deliver all necessary requests and
other documents in connection therewith for and on behalf of the City of Gilroy.

19th day of October, 1970, by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: Batrez, Duffin, Kennedy, Pate, Silva, Wentworth,
and Goodrich.
NOES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: None
